Homeschool Science Curriculum Choices

When you need to pick a homeschool science curriculum there are a few things you need to think about first. Do you want textbook items, or a computer homeschool program?
Is the homeschool science curriculum that you’re considering the right one for the age and grade level of your student? And finally how much the labs will cost for that science curriculum choice?
Here are a few different ones that you may consider when you’re trying to pick an appropriate science choice for your child. Bob Jones which is good for age’s kindergarten all the way up to twelfth grade, and has many labs that all appropriate ages will be able to do.
Or you can try the Apologia Curriculum that has been made for grades seventh to twelve. The cost of the labs here will be a bit less than your first choice. It’s a good program that will provide your homeschooled child with all the information needed for the levels of study.
There are many other areas of study that can be used along with this curriculum that include such things as zoology, physics, and astronomy to name just a few.
Finally a third choice for your homeschool science curriculum would be Alpha Omega Lifepac, which is about the same as the first choice for lab costs. This may be the easiest of the three to use for you and your child, with very little preparation time needed.
Pick out a curriculum that you like and that you’ve heard good things about. Contacting a local group of parents who also homeschool can assist you in your decision process.
If you find one that you find you and your child enjoys, continue with that one for each year. Compare the studies that are offered with the requirements that have been set through your state laws too.
